Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, played from Tue 29 Aug – Fri 1 Sep 2017.
William Golding’s Lord of the Flies tells the raw tale of a group of British schoolboys marooned on an isolated tropical island after their plane is shot down during a wartime evacuation. Free from the rules and structures of civilisation and society, the boys descend into savagery. As the boys splinter into factions, some behave peacefully and work together to maintain order and achieve common goals, while others rebel and seek only anarchy and violence.
